SCINE's Community Youth Parliaments (CYP) Programme embrace SLOGBAA training and mentorship program

For purposes of sustainability communities should be considered right from planning level up to implementation. Community Youth parliaments (CYP) bring communities and their leaders together to identify, discuss and find solutions for the problems facing their society. Covid 19 came with new normals but during CYPs we came to understand that as a community we need to work for better normals instead.

For the above reason, The School of Local Governance Budget Advocacy and Accountability training and mentorship program (SLOGBAA) was introduced into CYPs to equip aspiring and existing ghetto youth leaders with knowledge and skills in transformational leadership and effective evidence based budget advocacy to influence social service financing and implementation in the divisions of Kampala.
