There is some magical about watching seeds sprout, plants grow and knowledge blossom. At Kibuye primary school, Presbyterian primary school and St Benedict primary school all in Makindye division we are proud to nurture this magic through our thriving school gardening program.

From the bustling cityscape to our serene school grounds, we have carved a green oasis where students can dig deep into hands on learning experiences. Through gardening we are not just cultivating vegetables and fruits but we are sowing seeds of curiosity, responsibility and environmental stewardship.

With support from Seed Programs International we are continuing to build the capacity of children and their teachers to reduce hunger and to adapt to climate changes.
