SCINE elected to head a strong sustainable network of CSOs working on environment and climate change

Sustainable Community Initiative for Empowerment - SCINE and other CSOs today concluded a two days workshop at Landmark hotel Muyenga. The workshop was to bring together different organizations to build a strong sustainable network of CSOs working on environment and climate change in sub Saharan Africa. In the same workshop a pilot project on natural resources, environment and climate change was designed and this is going to be funded by Seniors Without Borders through Community Integrated Development Initiatives-CIDI.

Growing organizations were given chance to lead the first steering Committee selected and we are grateful that #SCINEUGANDA is among them and our own Joanna N Sentongo is the deputy chairperson
