Community Youth Parliaments

These are platforms where young people and local authorities, duty bearers interact and discuss issues in their communities and find solutions together. SCINE organises monthly community Youth Parliaments in communities, where local leaders are invited, such as the division mayors, the head of division administrations, sub county chiefs and local councilors, to engage with youth and discuss issues concerning service delivery, Health, security, climate change, community economic development, good governance and leadership among others. The Youth Parliaments are, as well, a really good opportunity for the young people to showcase the change that comes from engaging them in decision making.
