Nabasirye Angel: a climate change that encourages and inspires more young people

Nabasirye Angel a resident of Nkere Zone Katwe I a Kampala suburb, she is one of the young people from the ghetto communities that have engaged in collecting plastic waste and car tyres as a positive economic activity that not only provides her with income but this activity is also one of the ways of protecting the environment and reducing climate changes.

She narrates that through her work she has been able to collect plastics that would have been a danger to the environment and sold them to her fellow community members who use them as gardens and sold others to recycling plants that make new products from them.

She is one of the climate change champions in Katwe that encourages and inspires more young people to engage in more activities that promote and protect the environment.
