Golden Times Urban Farmers Club: imparting knowledge and skills on urban farming

On Saturday Ist October, 2022, we conducted a training on urban farming for school children at Golden Times primary school. This was aimed at imparting knowledge and skills on urban farming. This will help them take care of the garden.

Upon completion of the training, we planted our vegetables including Sukuma Wiki, and onions and amaranthus. We went ahead and formed the first ever Golden times Urban farmers club. A committee was selected including the Chairperson, vice chairperson and a secretary. In conclusion, the the club was taken through their roles and responsibilities.

Golden Times Urban farmers club continues to practice their roles and responsibilities. The progress is visible and we just can't wait for their first harvest. We are grateful for the support from Seed Programs International always.
